Jini-enabled devices can communicate the application level services directly. They can also enjoy the Jini services without any necessary configurations. Since current Jini technology has been designed for the desktop-based environments, lots of technological restrictions are still existed to extend the Jini services to wireless environment. In this paper, a method using surrogate in which Jini service is feasible in the wireless environment is proposed. A couple of Jini applications such as file search service and print service from mobile devices is presented.
